CP Notes > When I first started this Blog in the summer of 2012 I did a post on this film shot by a film maker out of California that spent a lot of time filming in the Sequoia National Park. I’m sure most of you in the bigfoot community have seen this film at one time or another and just passed it off as a stunt. I thought it was way to good in many bigfoot respects to be made by a newbie filmmaker. Now someone has finally analyzed every frame of this film so everyone can witness it’s amazing visual connections to the hairy beast we know as bigfoot.

In the analyzed version by Thinkerthunker I will give you some time marks to look at closely because the original film by Shawn Bannon is shown as it was shot and not zoomed in on to show you these bigfoot closeups.

Time Marks to checkout on Thinkerthunker version  3:15-5:50  Next one is at 7:10 to 7:25  Next Mark is 11:20 to 11:30 Look at the size of the hands and at the 11:27 Look between his legs tell me if this isn’t the creatures penis flopping about. You won’t see it that well in original because you need to zoom in. This close up examination of this film I think makes it as legit to me as the P/G film 19767. What do you think ?

Bigfoot Sketch by Sybilla Christine Irwin

Sybilla Christine Irwin was kind enough to do a sketch for me. She took multiple still captures from the Bigfoot in the Laurels Video and created this wonderful sketch. I think this is spot on to what the old girl looks like. Over the past couple years of studying the video, it appears that the Bigfoot may be female. Sybilla Irwin is a Facebook Friend of mine and I am a big admirer of her work. She is like Alexis Evans and one of the few artists that is seriously committed to the notion o showing Bigfoots as individuals. In this case I wanted to try some simple mechanical re-orientations of the photographic image (Some touch-up work was required to make the face as legible as before after re-orienting)

 

To me this face has a very distinctively Neanderthaloid facial structure

Dale Drinnon Hey this is great! I wish you luck on that, this is WAAAAYY more authentic than a lot of the stupidity that has been floating around lately. I mean its a kids book, but they really look like that and it seems the reddish ones are the littler ones of the bigger darker ones. Ivan Sanderson remarked on that in 1961

A selection of Bigfoot Videos posted on YouTube and which were pointed out in Bigfoot Discussion groups I belong top on Facebook.



I won't vouch for the validity of all the faces that are found in the shadows but my feeling is that there is a certain kind of consistency to them and if any number of them is genuine then this is definitely something worth looking into. The face as mapped out below definitely matches several reports of what the face of a juvenile Eastern Bigfoot looks like. The Eye sockets are probably even more circular than that






This last one might be a NAPES (North American Apes) report because it looks an awfully lot like a partial view of a gorilla on all fours. It is from Ohio and as it is pointed out, the part we are looking at is surely not part of a bear or dog.

Video: Provo Canyon, Utah - Possible Bigfoot Encounter

Jeffery Meldrum, an associate professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University, said there “is very little to go on,” to determine whether or not an actual sighting of Bigfoot took place.

“All we really have contextually is the account of the events by the eyewitnesses. I can relate to the emotions of the situation but it would be nice if they held their ground and waited just a little bit longer to capture more of the creature,” Meldrum said. “When it moves, it is really difficult to interpret. The glimpse is slippery. It is hard to discern.” - ABC News

A Utah man camping in Provo Canyon caught sight of – what he claims – was a black creature in the woods.

The video’s description, named “Provo Canyon Bigfood Encounter?” on YouTube [LINK], says the man was camping near Squaw Peak and Little Rock Canyon Overlook when they saw deer up on the hill.

On their way up, the spotted what appeared to be a bear. But when “the monster stood up and looked right at us,” they fled.

“We had actually been standing there for awhile. We had thought it was a bear up to that point but when it stood up and looked at us it was just massive animal,” said the video’s uploader, who goes by the name Beard Card on YouTube. He did not want his real name to be made public.

“We don’t know what it was. I mean none of us really believe in Bigfoot but we’ve talked about it over and over again since then. It happened on Monday and all of us are positive that thing wasn’t a bear.” - Fox 13 Now

CARD: "But when it stood up and looked at us--and we assumed it was a bear up to that point--but, when it stood up and looked at us, it was this massive animal. We don't know what it was. I mean, none of us believe in Bigfoot, so. ...We've talked about it over and over again since Monday when it happened and all of us are positive that thing wasn't a bear."

ROTH: "You're not a Bigfoot guy?

CARD: "Nope...none of us have ever believed in that kind of thing."

ROTH: "So what do you think it was?"

CARD: "I don't know!...We don't know what it was...I don't know if Bigfoot exists or not but that was a huge animal."

NOTE: There have been 9 Class A & B reports of Bigfoot between 1982 and 2005 in the area within and around Provo Canyon according to the BFRO. I'm still not convinced that this was a hominid or Bigfoot-type creature, but the length of the arm and movement of the subject are very curious. A few more seconds of video may have determined what this really was...Lon

Now I'll just go on record and say what I have been saying ever since the footage just came out. It looks to me very much as if a heavily-coated human is squatting to usae the toilet at the onset. It is a black coat and when he is hunched down behind the trees is when he was mistaken for a bear. After a while he finishes, stands up and the shadow becomes dramatically broader. This is what makes me think he is wearing a coat: he throws the coat back so he can pull his pants up and fasten them again. After this is done, a human arm can clearly be made out to the right of the image area. The figure does not have very long arms nor any other identifying features except when he stands up, he looks really very broad in proportion. If anybody else has a better explanation I'd like to hear it.

I've set the images side by side for comparison, because the image on the right, which I grabbed from the vid, isn't getting any notice at all. So, note the image on the right, which has what appears to be a snout with steam exhaling from it. (In the video the steam is very apparent.) I don't completely know what this is, but if it's a ...

BF, then it has a snout, as some are reported to have. This side view (right pic) also shows a conic head. The right arm looks interesting to me in the right pic, too. I wonder why I cannot see a space between the arm and torso. This is very strange, but fun to think about. Thanks Extreme Expeditions for sharing this!"

The lack of definition between arms and torso, and torso and head are two things that make it look like a human being bundled in a sleeping bag: furthermore, the "Snout" could show somebody's head popping in and out of the sleeping bag also. JC Johnson notes that the continous stream of "Steam" coming from the mouth looks more like somebody is smoking a cigarette.

 Since we have no definite markers for Bigfoot except large bulky torso and wide shoulders, and we have three indicators which could very well indicate a human bundled up in a sleeping bag but sitting upright to have a smoke on a cold night, I'm going to have to say this is more likely a sleeping bag-unless we do get better resolution of the head showing an actual snout or the arms swinging free from the sides of the torso.

Camper Films Bigfoot - Enhanced!

This video was release by a website called shootingsasquatch.com. The video seems to be making some waves and there are rumors of a press conference being talked about.

So I decided to take a closer look at the video. I don't really see anything here that would call for a press conference or any major news media.

While I believe bigfoot is a real creature, I also believe that there is far more fake videos than potentially real videos.

If this turns out to be a real sasquatch then i'll be happy I was wrong but if anyone is passing it off as a real sasquatch video and it turns out to be a hoax...then you will just look like an idiot.

My opinion is that this is nothing more that a bigfoot suit that is readily available. If you want to think it is the real deal thats up to you but I'm not drinking the kool aid on this one.

And I agree: this is not what a Bigfoot SHOULD look like to me, but on the other hand it is a very good reproduction of an "Artist's Conception" of what a bigfoot looks like. I would therfore tend to side that sayys the supposed bigfoot shown is a suit or a model and thre video is a deliberate hoax.
