Alleged Antarctic Creature
This photo is one of two taken by a Japanese fishing crew in the Antarctic ocean.
Historically called a "Ningen" by the Japanese, it is said to resemble a giant human and similar to the mythical Mermaid. Unlike... the storybook mermaids, these creatures are extremely ugly and have been reported to attack smaller fishing boats.

[If this is true the stories are about "Mermen" and not mermaids per se. I have a small file of similar reports made off of California. However the second photo of this set shows a beluga whale and photoshop is suspected in this one-DD]
