Another Peruvian pot showing a large bird with teeth in its beak, posted at the Facebook Living Pterosaurs page. This looks to me like good evidence of a surviving Pelagornathid again, already suspected in Northern South America from old artwork and more recent sightings.

Allowing for an almost cartoony art style, I think the match is a good one as far as size and general shape goes. The convex profile of the upper beak is notable, and exaggerated on the pottery portrayal
