Why do Creationists persists on making all Christians look like morons?

As someone who is an artist I can say that drawing a carnivore with only three toes is the norm. It is much easier to just suggest the form especially when drawing a stylized subject, as these lions clearly are. There are all sorts of cheap mas-produced cement lions used to top fences in my town and they all have three toed paws. Even little kids draw lions with three toes.

Also I agree the lizard is a horned toad. All these living dinosaur people really need to look at living animals. I don't know how many images of perfectly normal cassowaries I have seen labeled hadrosaurs or hornbills being called 'pterodactyls'. And it is all meaningless drivel anyway. It is not uncommon for any of the dogs or cats to go missing one toe on a foot and therefore be three-toed; It is even less unusual for the four-toed foot of any dog or cat to leave a three-toed PRINT because two of the toes get smeared together in printing. What I am trying to say is that the importance of this three-toed "Mistake" is vastly overblown, and more so in a mere artistic representation where you have NO idea what the original foot looked like. So I tend to look at the whole argument as a waste if time unless you do indeed have a clear three-toed track you are looking at, or you have the actual skeletal three-toed foot. Otherwise the discussion has no especial value and not in the Taxonomic sense in particular.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629061224332673795.post-32054347272635332912012-12-05T10:05:24.151-08:002012-12-05T10:05:24.151-08:00In the words of Captain Picard:

Their front legs are too long. They have three fingers paws. Their bodies are too long. This from a culture that provides us many examples of museum level, realistic depictions of lions and other animals."

The author of this piece should be reminded that Greek art passed through several stages of development and that hyperrealism was not characteristic of all of them, so stylized lions of this sort are not out of the question.philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08513876927710154838noreply@blogger.com
